Computer Nitrox Divers have a greater understanding of the benefits and constraints of Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) as a breathing gas — and certification to use EANx mixtures comprising 22 to 40 percent oxygen.

Equipment Specialist Divers have a greater understanding of how dive equipment works, as well as know-how in general repairs and maintenance of various types of exposure suits, BCDs, regulators, and other accessories.

Deep Divers have increased appreciation of the risks and benefits of deep diving. They are able to plan and execute dives that are within the range of 18m to 40m.

Drysuit Divers have embraced advanced training in drysuit equipment, selection, and diving techniques. This allows them to extend their diving season, spend more time diving in cooler environments and enhance their experience underwater by staying warm.

Night & Low Visibility

Night & Low Visibility Divers have increased understanding of the specialized procedures, techniques, and potential hazards associated with diving at night, or in limited visibility.


Solo Divers have a matured understanding of the importance of proper dive planning, personal limitations, and accident prevention in situations where buddy reliance may be limited — such as those diving with children or inexperienced divers. 

U.W. Navigation

Underwater Navigation Divers have a greater understanding of how to properly navigate underwater using both natural and compass navigation techniques.
